Christmas Gifts

Christmas Gifts Program

Thank you for your interest in our Christmas Food and Toy program. We have reached our capacity for registrations for this year.

If you have already registered, you will hear from us on December 13, 14, or 15, when we will call you with a pick-up time for Saturday, December 16.

Every year, Christmas gifts for children (up to age 17) are available to those receiving food boxes. In 2022, gifts were distributed safely at Seton Catholic College Prep School.

For Christmas 2022, through the generosity of donors who participated in multiple local toy drives, we distributed over 4000 gifts to 1186 children in 415 families. Many, many thanks to Madeline's Helpful Heart, all those who donated to the KPTV/Les Schwab toy drive and KGW Great Toy Drive, as well as the parishioners of the Catholic churches who make up our conference: Our Lady of Lourdes, Holy Redeemer, St. Joseph, and The Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater and our local community, including KMR Foundation, Columbia Credit Union, Crossroads Community Church, Adair Homes, and Macadam Floor & Design. We are also very grateful to the students and families from Seton Catholic, and the many families and individuals who supported this program with gifts of time and toys. Those donations made such a positive impact on local families as they celebrated the birth of Jesus!

Many thanks to our friends at Seton Catholic College Prep High School for their energetic support during our toy distribution day. We couldn't have done it without them!

We're also very appreciative of the many gifts we received from the Les Schwab/KPTV community toy drive and KGW Great Toy Drive.

Additional thanks go to Madeline's Helpful Heart, who have worked with us for several years to bring Christmas toys and gifts to children in Vancouver.

These generous members of our local community and their supporters have been so important to the work of the Society of St. Vincent dePaul at Christmas time, and we are very grateful for their help.
