Food

The Vancouver St. Vincent de Paul Society Conference is a Catholic lay organization dedicated to helping those faced with unexpected temporary needs. Food is provided to our clients once every 14 days. Our homeless population are eligible for food daily when we are open. We are a partner agency with the Clark County Food Bank and we provide emergency food supplies to individuals and families in Clark County. Assistance is provided regardless of religion, nationality, race, sexual orientation, or gender.

Although not required, we encourage our non-English speaking clients to provide an interpreter to allow us to serve them better.

Food donations are accepted at the Stapleton Road facility Monday-Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Food donations are also gladly accepted from local churches, private donors, and community food drives. Fresh produce is accepted from local parish gardens during the summer months. We accept unopened non-perishable items that have current "best by" dates. If donated can food items are bulging, rusty (or you would not eat it), then please, kindly do not donate it.

Please call our office at 360-694-5388 should you have any questions.

A Christmas Letter of Gratitude

"We wanted to sincerely say THANK YOU to all the wonderful families that have helped our family out this Christmas with a food box and presents for our two sons. You have made our two sons delighted and filled with joy this Christmas. May the Lord bless every family who donated their time and finances to bless us and make this happen. We are praying to God to continue to bless your ministry so you could impact even more people's lives.

We are also grateful for all the food donations we have received thus far, which has positively impacted our family.

Thank you for being in our community and showing God's love to everyone who comes in need.

Wishing everyone the most happiest New Year!!!"

From a family of four
